Today’s blog, we will be sharing with you how to measure a t shirt with our size charts! Before you begin with the measurement, lay the t shirt on a flat surface!
We usually use only 2 measurement on t shirts:
1. Chest Width (Also known as arm pit to arm pit)
For width measurement for our t shirts, we take from the threads sewed together at the arm pit area from left to right.
Things to take note, if you realised that the measurement on our size chart is so much bigger than what you expect, you might be looking at a ‘full round’ measurement on the t shirt.
So if you measured only 20″ on chest, but our size chart is showing you 40″, don’t worry! It is showing the full round! So whatever you measurement, you can x 2 times! You should be able to get them!
Should I take the size chart measurement on my body or on a t shirt?
We often advise our customers to measure on a t shirt that you are most comfortable with, and try to match against our size chart.
Is the size chart 100% accurate?
No, definitely not. The size chart is just a guide for measurement. As the shirts are all sew on by human, we allow +/- 5% difference in size on the actual shirt.
As shirts have elasticity, the shirt measurement might differ from different people measuring too!
